How can I put this....... Rap has the "Needle in the Haystack" complex, lots of stuff (the "hay") , but only a few good songs and artists (the "needles").

Personally, I prefer rap in general, but there are quite a few rock bands that I also enjoy.

I enjoy Rock as long as it is not the kind of Rock where the singers screams very loudly. I think classic rock sounds better.

Both. They are complimentary as well.

That said, I prefer a lot of older rap from the late 80's to the early 00's and not much of what is out now..

I've never really been a fan of Rap, just really not my type of music. Definitely would pick Rock!
