Anime

So I'm guessing most of you just find your anime from the Internet or something, right? Because none of the television stations I have show anything apart from the odd Pokemon in the early morning.
 
I watch them on the Internet because it's free and I spend my money mostly on games or some other small devices, but at the same time it's hurting the company that made the anime because you're not buying the anime on DVD. Oh and the Internet has animes that doesn't air on TV anymore.

These are the most memorable off the top of my head. I'm pretty open when it comes to Anime. You pretty much give me a recommendation and I'll give it a go. Otherwise, I love me some classic anime from the '70s, '80s, and early '90s.

Galaxy Express 999 was my first venture into the incredible world that is Anime (thanks to Sci-Fi channel's then Saturday Anime block). Since then I'll watch whenever I have the chance.

In my case, most of it is either on TV (in the case of the films; Film 4 show one every week or two), on DVD, or in the case of the newer ones, on Anime on Demand (which is legal; it gets paid for through advertising).
 
I didn't know Sonic had an OVA. Sounds cool. I may watch it.

Though my friend is staying the night tonight so I may get to finish Chobits.

I just looked up the Sonic OVA and it's the Sonic movie. The girl I like had me watch that before. I didn't know it was an anime though.

Originally it was a two episode OVA back in '96. When ADV brought and dubbed the OVA to the US in '99 it was merged as a direct to VHS/DVD movie.

Would be cool. I know Sonia made an appearance in SEGA All Stars Racing on accident on the Wii version. What happened was one of the people in charge of stage design instead of grabbing Amy's art for Casino Park, accidentally grabbed a Sonia fan art pic from Deviant Art and now it's stuck permanently in the stage. Big lol.

I agree. Both Riders and Zero Gravity were awesome. I have Free Riders but I don't really have enough room to play it at times. Small living space, heh. Can't wait till the kinect magnifier comes out. Then I can finally play!

Oh I've heard of Sonic Underground. I have a VHS tape for it, but I never got to watch it. I kind of want to watch a few episodes though. It looked pretty cool.

Also I finished Chobits a while back. It was great. Now I started High school of the Dead. Which is about zombies.
