Thought I would try here cause the Nintendo scene is dry in my area, like everything else (I live in west texas), But I was hoping to meet some new people and play some games. So again, Hi.
 
Welcome! Hopefully you will be able to find someone to wifi with! Now that thats been said, I'm shocked that 3 people have beaten NintenDan to the greeting.
 
Thanks for the warm welcome. It's a little weird for me to just jump into forums anymore and try to avoid looking like a creep because of my age (I'm 28 and nintendo as a bad and unfair rap for being a kids system)

No problem. Why should it be weird to reply to forums? Forums are just a way for people to talk about and share their interests and lives. As for the Nintendo bein a kids system, thats a load of B.S. I'm in my late teen years and I love playing on my Nintendo systems. I plan on playing mario til the day my hands are too old and brittle to grip the controller, and even then I will still try to keep playing! Lol. Age is just a number, what matters is that you enjoy the games. But don't worry, No bullies here

Welcome S Man X! There's nothing wrong with using forums at the age of 28, heck, many of us here are in our 20s and such like. I am for one.

It's a friendly community too!
 
Thanks, I've definitely noticed. Last forums i was on was gamefaqs *shudders in horror* so meeting pleasant people is a nice change.

@ Arcella: Thanks! And I would probably have to say that Link is my fav Nintendo character since the original LoZ was the first game I played on a NES and also the first game I ever beat. A lot of sentimental memories there *lost in nostalgia*
 
No texas isn't really that bad, it's more the sunny part. we are counted in the "Extreme" drought region and the water quality is in decline. the vegetation is dying and we are about three steps away from water rationing. It's been over 300 days since we have had any significant rain. Other than that it's a decent place. In fact im about to update my location to remove that part now.
