I agree. Ever since Sega has been working with Nintendo, they have been going downhill with MOST Mario games. It looks like Sonic is taking Mario down with him!

It was said in Super Mario Galaxy 2 that most power-ups would return, but here's a valid point: One of the most fun-to-use power-ups, the Ice Flower, did NOT return, despite being included in NSMBW.
Besides which, the time limit on the Fire Flower is a silly addition and really takes away the fun of the Fire Flower.
Just thought I'd point that out.
Nintendo should've ditched the Spring Mushroom and included the Ice Flower instead. I was appalled when I pressed a switch and froze a lake, instead of freezing the water as I landed on it, and wall-jumping up a waterfall.
They did say 'Most'. 'Most' does not mean all.

Exactly. Just like I was upset about the Mega Mushroom not returning in NSMBW, since it was the icon item of the first game (and not to mention the most fun to use).

Not bringing the Mega Mushroom back was a mistake! However, it makes the original NSMB different. Look at me talking about games I don't have! I'm hardcore like that.

My favorite is the fire flower. It's classic and it's always been there for me. Though it's my favorite for fighting. For flying it's the cape.

I don't much care for the penguin suit. I mean I love penguins, but it's basically an ice flower. I also like ice flowers, but not as much as the fire flower. Unless it's against cheep cheeps. Then it's fun.
