I think your Hotel most likely wants to make more money from selling faster wifi which many buyers are willing to pay for if they need faster wifi to video chat on Zoom, Skype and other video chat apps which people now use for work, and download large work files.

Bit mixed over here at the moment. It's not too cold but we have a lot of grey clouds and a bit of rain here and there. They have predicted another mini heatwave at some point though which I'm looking forward to.
 
Looks pretty cool. I'm more of a casual gamer for MSFS though so I'll probably only be playing with my controller.
