Grand Theft Auto V

I saw the entire gameplay on YouTube- still saving up to get a console. It was hilarious, engaging and adventurous. The characters are dynamic or messed up (I'm looking at you, Trevor). I know once I get it, I'll spend hours playing it and weeks on the free roam.

If anyone is looking for good gameplay, I recommend the funhaus footage of their game sessions.

I enjoy this game a lot. Mainly GTA Online, fun to cause chaos with friends (i.e. tanks, hydras, etc.). I also spend quite some time with the Sumo adversary mode.

Grand Theft Auto V has to be the best game in the world right now and it will be no matter (for me anyway :p). I think the only game that could rival it is GTA VI when it eventually comes out. I love playing online as well, rank 199 at the moment

I have to disagree with that statement. The first moment I heard about this release back in 2013, I went to Gamestop and pre-ordered the 500GB PS3 bundle pack with this game. I was the first person in line at the midnight release. I stayed up, knowing I should've went to sleep because I had to be at work at 5 in the morning. I went home to play the game, and immediately thought something was wrong with my copy because of the graphics.

They looked like PS2 graphics, I was disappointed. I sold the game back to game stop 2 days later, I never played it again. I watched the whole game play walk through on Youtube though. Very disappointing, I really wanted to see something that look better that GTA 4 but that did not occur with GTA 5, I can't lie, it had a great story line.

I thought I would ask this here...

I got the game when it came out on 360. I played it for a few months online then out of no where, I could not get online. I tried every few days for almost 2 months then finally gave up. I don't know what happened but it ruined the game for me. Did this happen to anyone else?

Anyone being playing the online recently? I have seen a couple of updates since I last played - is there enough to make it worthwhile to return to?
I have only played it a little bit recently, but I think the updates are okay. They are mostly geared towards players who have a ton of money, though, so if you don't have a few million on hand, you won't be able to partake in all the updates as greatly as someone who does.

It's been awhile since I've played GTA5 online and unfortunately I have to announce it is still filled with clowns.
It's awful online.

-Black wannabe Gangstas on they mics.
-screeching music playing in the background because people are putting their mics next to their speakers on purpose.
-screaming little kids.
-Bossy little kids who won't leave you alone.
-When you play on teams people will all jump in one team so it'll be 1 vs 1 vs 6
-When you do missions together and have to go somewhere guys will destroy the escape vehicle right near the end so everyone wasted 30 minutes playing to lose.

Every time you finish a mission you all land in the same spot in freemode in which someone instantly blows up everyone and their purchased vehicle so you have to spend 15 minutes to make a claim and run over and pickup your destroyed vehicles.

Damn kids!

You can set your chat options to excludes the people you dislike and mute individual players.

find a crew to play team stuff with, same goes for missions and heist, that will solve a lot of your issues. And you don't have to pick up the car you claimed, just call your mechanic for another car or request the one you just claimed via the interaction menu.

Awesome game with great gameplay, if someone told it's boring let him try multiplayer :) i love this game <3
I don't like the multiplayer anymore because it's just grinding for cash 24/7. GTA 4 used to be extremely fun because you could have fun with your friends and didn't have to worry about cash.

Gotta say it is one of the best GTA games. Weren't they going to come out with a GTA Online? I think that would be pretty fun if it was a MMO type game.

What do you mean ? There is already a Grand Theft Auto Online and it's just the multiplayer version of GTA V .

Oh boy, this game is now more relevant than ever with the recent Take Two modding debacle. The game itself is great, and I've spent countless hours on it just pulling off the most ridiculous nonsense, and I would've put even more hours into it if it were not for Take Two ruining the one reason I still play it: modding.

If the modding community was angry at Bethesda for the paid mods controversy, Take Two just scheduled their own crucifixion.

The new DLC is quite cool but so expensive. Luckily I had 1.8million lying around so I was able to buy the cheapest bunker available. Can't afford anything else though :/

GTA V is one of the best games out there, specially the release on PS4 and i'ts FPS implement, it made the game really immersive. The story is fun and the characters are so unique, specially Trevor.

I played it a bit, but I wasn't that impressed. The main characters had "powers" or so that make the gameplay easier in some regards, and the online stuff required a purchase of real money to be able to get things. I wasn't a fan of that either, but hey, I'm a gamer with a tight budget and I'd rather spend my limited funds on a new game, rather than online currency. The map was also impressive, but I think it's "too big" for my taste. I think the perfect size of a map was San Andreas, where you can familiarize yourself with the map without looking at the HUD. Starting with GTA 4, you get too bored driving around and just take a cab ride to your destination.
