So I often get random PSN strangers messaging me saying "hi" or "whats up?"

I be nice and respond in kind and nearly every time I get this question soon after:

"So how old are you?"


I'm like yeeeeah and then I stop responding because I'm not giving my age out like that. Anyone else get this?

Yeah I think there is some bots on the PS messaging. I would suggest turning off messages from people who aren't friends.

I know this is a little old by now, but I've gotten like 6 or 7 of these messages from different accounts. A friend of mine told me he'd gotten about two as well. They say exactly the same thing, so I think it might be bots or something.

You should be able to set it so that only people who your friend can message you, much like you can on steam.

I decided to reply one day to a random message because like some of you it was happening quite a bit, and the persons replies weren't really making any sense like it was a bot and in the end sent me a link to some kind of girls on cam thing, didn't click the link because I don't want my info hacked or something stupid.
