Yeah, maybe for the Steambox. They already have an infrastructure set up like that, and consumers who use steam rarely ever complained about it, because the Steam service started out that way from day one. Microsoft didn't.

Microsoft should re-brand the Xbox then. Make a new console that is all digital and new games that uses keys like PC games.

Well Xbox is lazy with this stuff cause when you have people like Bill Gates who don't care they're in no rush.

Bill Gates does not direct anything that the Xbox team does. He's retired from what I've heard, and he only owns Microsoft because of stocks now, he does not oversee production. Plus he's busy being a super nice guy, and donating tons of money to Africa.

Again, checks and balances. I don't know how your country works, but this is America. And he could sell his shares all he wants, that doesn't mean others don't have shares.

And he does have the majority! That does not mean he can dictate everything in the company though.
