Old, but this looks like a cool Donkey Kong Country fan game

Holy heck a whole bunch of updates. These are all looking awesome. I like the return of Lantern Squawks too.

Looks nice, although he's not my favourite animal buddy from the series.

For a fan game, this looks pretty much like the real deal. The video with Blue Sqauwks looks just like the actual level from DKC2, and the Glimmer looks and feels the same as from the game too. I am eagerly awaiting a demo!

It is not my favorite ehehe, but the point is that we all buddies!

And with the Parry concluded the part of the Buddies. It was a real journey to put all the animal friends of the SNES DKC series in the project since each has its specific characteristics, in all whe have 12 animals buddies:

1 = Rambi
2 = Winky
3 = Expresso
4 = Rattly
5 = Squitter
6 = Squawks
7 = Purple Squawks
8 = Enguarde
9 = Ellie
10 = Blue Squawks
11 = Glimmer
12 = Parry

It is likely that we will have a buddy unique to our project, we must discuss this with Hiperkalango's yet.

The next step is I join the two parts of the projects, my (partner system) and the Hiperkalango's (the system of buddies). Before I need to make several adjustments to refine the system partner and a few more hits with the buddies.

When the project is unified, will initiate the bad system collision, which will be added the Krens. We entered the final stage of project to release a new playable demo!

The hard work and dedication of yourself and your team is certainly showing itself, and you can rest assured I will try my best to tell others about this game as much as I can, because it deserves all the attention it can get!

Thank you for help with publicity!

The updates will now take a little longer than usual, since we're in the general settings of the engine, making corrections and unifying the various systems. I have worked hard at it.

But not to be without anything to show, from time to time I post something. Here is the progress of the rope swinging, with custom sprites for Dixie and Kiddye (since this type of rope only had the DKC1).

Those new rope sprites look awesome. Also, I don't remember seeing the actual partner system (i.e. DK with Dixie following behind him), but it looks really well done.

That needs to be fixed, yet.
After so many days without posting anything, I will now show the system of teaming up almost complete, lacking saw very few adjustments and a preview of "Konkreto" stage (this stage will still have issue,BG blur effect, foreground's, etc.)
The partner system "following" is not fully completed (strings and mobile platforms still require adjustments).

It's looking pretty good! Great to see that all the Kongs can interact with one another, that's surely going to open up a whole lot of possibilities.

The custom stage looks awesome too!

Looks nice. Are all the maps in this game going to be completely original, or remade versions of the ones from the original SNES games?

Thank you!
The maps are all completely original and somemaps remade from the DKC SNES series.
Well, as the updates are more time consuming in this project stage (and also because I am without my notebook

), here's a preview of what will be the movement of camera on the map.

That camera movement is great. It is definitely looking like a true sequel to the SNES trilogy, and I have to say that I am very impressed!

Looks pretty nice, although I really want to see a different map. As in, one of the other maps from the series updated or something.

Soon I will start the map (submap) of the first area of the game.
New graphical archetype for custom stages:

We partner with Joao Pedro (NecroToad) of Pixel Cows http://www.pixelcows.com.br
That will give some graphics and music to our project. This is a small preview showing what it will cooperate.

And here, a video to show how most walk progress with the switch system. Now I'm getting really pleased with the results although it is giving so much work in this project stage:
