All four Donkey Kong Country heroes in all three original game's levels. Donkey Kong exploring Crocodile Isle and fighting Kaptain K Rool! Dixie Kong in Blackout Basement and Mine Cart Carnage. Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong in Lightning Lookout and Rocket Rush, or Kiddy Kong in the levels from the first two games.

That seems pretty cool if you ask me.
 
Oh wow, that's really neat. If there's anything the Donkey Kong series needs, it's more than two kongs to choose from in the game (though I'm not sure how it'd work, still would be neat).

Not sure if it's a hack, but either way, the levels are all different in terms of layout which is nice. This is rather neat in the end, very cool find.
 
This looks pretty cool. At first I thought the Kongs auto-changed at the checkpoint barrels, but it turns out one can pick each Kong, and some are better suited for the level then others.

I think he's just advertising his fan game, which is fair enough, now we have more info on how to get the game...

I think the fact it was set out so well is what made you think that, heh. Not everybody can structure nice, simple but informative posts!

Also, I looked at the blog leo_core, I must say it looks like it's coming together really well, I'm impressed! Thank you for reviving such a beautiful series... *sniff*

So will the final game have all level archtypes from all games? It's not a remake as far as I can tell, so I'm not expecting all the old levels, but will it have all the different types of levels from each Donkey Kong Country game?

Our intention is to put all stages of DKC trilogy and a few more that we will customize.

Sounds like it'll be a tough job, but it'll be something that definitely pays off and will be loved by all DKC fans, so keep up the great work, and good luck!

This project is already almost a year, I believe that by the end of the year is released. Soon we will launch a new playable demo. Thanks for the comments!

Yes, our intention is that! All stages of the trilogy, also put some new stages (custom stages). We are still studying adding a new Buddy

New animal buddy as well? Major kudos to that.

I have to ask one thing though... what of the GBA version specific content? Like that extra world from DKC 3 GBA, Kerozene or Kroctopus? Going to add in those?
