Old, but this looks like a cool Donkey Kong Country fan game

Each map will have a small intro showing the main areas on the map:

This is the first area of the Kong's Island, so the overall theme of that map is sunny and happy. On the island of Krem's atmosphere is more "sinister" and dark...

Well, for the next update will show some enemies that are being added to the engine.

Officially they are all called Squawks, however unofficially, that is fandomically (Please restart the Nintendictionary, Dan!):

Squawks is the normal green one
Flapper is the sort of bluey-purple one that's found in Parrot Chute Panic in DKC2, that can't fly upwards.
Quawks is the much more purple one that's found in Buzzer Barrage and Low-G Labyrinth, both in DKC3. This one is able to carry barrels and kegs.

Just to prove how much more purple he is:

Unlike Flapper, Quawks is apparently an official name.

According to NintenDanwiki... I mean MarioWiki:

The name Flapper is derived from one of Swanky Kong's Bonus Bonanza rounds in Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest. When asked what their parrot buddy's name was, the player were given the choice between Squawks, Squeaks, and Flapper. The last two names became fan names created by the Donkey Kong fansite, Donkey Kong Universe, for the blue and purple parrots, respectively, though the latter has now been officially named Quawks the Parrot.

As I had mentioned, today will post good news about the project. We have a new programmer on the team, is the João Pedro.

Well, before he came to our team I must say that the project was stopped and I would communicate that I would no longer work on the project over the coming months, my studies are taking all my time.

Lately Hyperkalango did not even have time to breathe, in fact it was he who created the base engine of the game, if this project exists is thanks to his hard work and dedication. I have spoken to him once in a while and he should resume with the project as soon as he has more time and the same goes for me.

So for the next few months who will work the engine is João Pedro. And he is working hard with new updates and doing a re-balancing to improve the overall performance of the engine.

João Pedro is one of the most talented people I know and MMF2 great programmer, and designer (Scarlet Crystals Crossing was he who did). So u can expect good things to come of his work.

I will continue giving an assistance with sprites, making and posting videos and adding terrains for the project, including a new terrain made by ​​Aryel themed desert.

Well, that's it for now folks. Just want to leave a comment for this video, notice that the Rambi not run away when it collides with the Krem, it will still be added.

Guys, unfortunately we are forced to postpone the release of the second demo for the day 22/09

We want this demo has the fewest errors and is very complete, with at least 5 stages and 1 boss.

I spoke today with João Pedro he handed me the schedule him that if there were no unexpected serious, could launch on Sunday. But that date without having the assurance of having the head area and without having enough time to complete the beta test, this could result in a demo with errors and do not want that.

We do not want a project that we worked on for months, turning day and night, has a demo incomplete and with errors. We want a decent demo, with varied enemies, maps and well finished with the minimum possible errors.

I can assure that an extra week will make a big difference, we have a "follow mimic" partner very faithful to the originals, among other things. Well, that's it, I'm sure I can count on the understanding of you guys who accompany us on this journey.

To compensate for the delay, 15/09, I'll fix some bugs with the beta and post for everyone.
 
Hey leo_core, don't apologise for the slight delay. It's about a week, everyone here is able to wait a week for that. The work you've shown is amazing enough on it's own and I am really impressed and amazed at the work that's been done. I for one will be extremely excited to play this demo, regardless of how completed it feels.

It's great that you care so much about wanting to send off a polished preview though, and I am certain that you will deliver the goods when you are ready!
 
I'm not sure whether to try the demo or wait for the whole game to release! this is exciting! I don't want to try the demo just to become super anxious for the full version to come out!

Oh my goodness the controls in that Beta were AMAZING! I love it! It's brilliant!
