So they injected a whole new season via dream? Not bad.
They changed one of the endings too, the assumed new true ending. changed the final boss too.

If you don't max out Maruki's confident before Sae's Palace, you'll still get the vanilla ending of the game. so no new final boss if you don't max out Maruki's, and

new good ending(variation)
the new good ending could hint a direct sequel to P5 with Joker
so there is an ending where
everyone is happy trapped in the dreamworld living their lives
no dream world and third semester.

That's more of a spinoff like the musou p5 game thing. Not a true enough sequel in my book.
