The Ukraine Crisis

Absolute mega explosion as Ukraine hits an ammo depo in russia. Probably the biggest explosion of the war.

It's why you don't work at weapon depos lol.

I dunno what to say about it. When it started, I expected to be like a Blitzcrieg however it became so prolonged where I realized this benefits Russia.

It doesn't benefit Russia in the slightest. This is why they planned to hammer Ukraine inside three days, install a puppet and game over. Ukraine were more resilient than anticipated and the failure of Russia to gain a quick victory meant that the global community was afforded time to hit Russia with sanctions and flood Ukraine with support - both military and financial.

I can't see it. That would change the dynamics significantly. If Russia deploys foreign troops it gives Ukraine - and Ukrainian allies - justification to deploy foreign troops too. Maybe we'll slowly be pulled into world war 3.

The only way the United States puts boots on the ground in this war is if US interests are attacked. Ukraine isn't a member of NATO so that's why people are upset that Biden is still helping them out.

The US isn't an altruistic outfit (no nationstate is), it's not supporting Ukraine because its the 'right thing to do', it's supporting Ukraine because it supports US interests. The idea that someone has to be a member of NATO for their to be US interest is shortsighted. Israel isn't in NATO either and still benefits from US protection.

Now, I'm not suggesting that is has to be US 'boots on the ground', that's a typical US-centric assumption. Ukraine has many allies in the region who are much more invested in the defence of Ukraine. The first, most obvious, and most likely suggestion would be Poland. The Poles have been itching to stick it to Russia for decades.
