Money for ukraine will be drying up by the end of the year and it looks like they won't be getting more of it. The rabid nationalists who want to keep fighting by having other countries pick up the tab had their fun but this is what is needed for ukraine to finally sit down and negotiate......Aka the one thing they accused of being a pro putin position, but was the only way they were going to get the war to end.

I want to say he got what he deserved, but he deserved much less.
 
Many dictators won't give up until the extreme very end. It's a game to them. They feel this is what NEEDS to be done. All others are wrong & they are determined to prove that they are right. Even if it means killing their own people to prove that.
War is so sad!

Sadly this mentality along with the Russian war machine's lack of care towards casualties will continue the endless bloodshed in the war. Now that the EU and the US have mostly abandoned Ukraine's ammo supply, it is going to be long war with huge losses on both sides as Ukraine's submission means mass death and all Russia needs is minimal gains to continue their propaganda and to continue the push.
 

Great documentary about what was going on before the invasion. Most importantly it was uploaded less than a month before the invasion so it has all the relevant happenings and since it came before the war, it is free of the purge of 'pro Russia' facts and whitewashing of Ukraine and it's soldiers which happened almost immediately after Feb 24. 2022.

TLDR -
Ukraine did not have control of the eastern regions even before Russia went in, losing it to pro Russia separatists who took over government buildings, set up their own army and government.

This could not have happened without significant people's support in the pro Russia regions which they seem to have.

The pro united Ukraine militia 'right sector' are the ones that have been fighting them and they're the one's Putin and Russia mean when they are talking about fascists and Nazis in Ukraine. Attacks by them on Russian speaking people in the east is what's Putin's excuse for invading.

The right side part of Ukraine was in civil war between them and Putin has been putting fuel on the fire.
 
The situation still remain very complex and it has a serious geopolitical implications.
 
Ukraine loses one of it's F-16s. It's either a crash or it got shot down by a friendly AA. Zelensky fires his air chief over it.

 
Absolute mega explosion as Ukraine hits an ammo depo in russia. Probably the biggest explosion of the war.

 
This was, apparently, a bomb-proof bunker. Clearly not drone proof though, right!
