I'm very positive I will have a PS4 by the end of the year.

I got the plat for Need for Speed now.
The game was basic. It's the first racing game that was nothing of a challenge. I could easily tell from the get go that they didn't put much effort into making it. There were A LOT of annoying things.
1. You can't customize the radio to get rid of no good songs
2. There was a ton of junky songs. I liked 4 out of about 70 tracks. Some of the songs were ridiculously annoying. One sounded like pots and pans being knocked together and another one was some sort of ringing in someones ear.
3. To skip a track you have to push down the turning button and hold it for 4 seconds. It's virtually impossible to turn and you have to wait for a good straight away.
4. You cannot PAUSE during a race at all.
5. A lot of the cars all drove and steered the same. Doesn't matter the size. if it was lower in hp then it would just go slower.
6. Game loading was awful. You'd start the game -5min load-, go to your garage to switch to drift tires -3min load-, fast transport to the race -3 minute load- and once at the starting line start the race -3 minute load-. The races often were about 3min long.
7. You cannot Re-try the race. If you finish it but need to do better then you have to drive back to the start line or transport to the start -3 minute load- then at the start LOAD the race. Even if you choose restart race it will bring you to the start were you have to choose to race and LOAD it.
8. This is the most annoying thing ever. The whole game is in the night and when cops tail you your tv flashes red and blue. You could be 5 miles ahead of the cops but the flashing blinds you anyway.
9. If you crash then often you respawn at full speed heading directly towards a wall of where ever you are.

Because this was an easy plat I did enjoy playing it. Also the Nissan GTR was in the game which is my favorite car in real life so that was a treat.

I have updated my list and also added DLC 1 for it because I think I'm going to have a go at that too.

Dead Island riptide is Platted. I had a blast until the collectibles glitched then the fun turned into a giant waste of time. I went near the end then ran around collecting everything for 4hrs. Then the last two were not there. I do recall this problem on the ps3 version.
-Online people advised that you can just restart with a new character and you only need to pick up the glitched ones and they will be there. The main problem is I had to complete the game near the end because the ones that I needed were not possible to get to so that was a good 6hrs of repeating. I get way near the end and they were MISSING YET AGAIN.
-Online advised that you should get a bunch of ones you already have gotten and they will show up so I spent about 2hrs doing that and still missing.
TO heck with it. I erased my data and saved games and restarted. I played about an hour and now the first and second collectible was missing. Then I I went online and this forum said that they are there but you can't see them. If you jump in front of them, duck, and try to find the perfect spot with your cross airs at it then you'll be able to get it. It worked, but of course since I deleted the whole game I had to nearly finish the game again and spend another 4hours collecting all of them.

That was horrible!

anyway, I see myself going for Life is strange next and that one will be very quick and easy.

Life is Strange is finished now. This game is fairly interesting and the turns of the story can get shocking. I did find that the voices and teen phrases a little bit annoying though. The final chapter is absolutely freaky. Very good game for $20.

I've hit a little bit of a life problem which will most likely affect my gaming. Three weeks ago I cut down on smoking to quit then suddenly I got serious lung pain from my system cleaning itself out. The pain is so severe I went unconscious a bunch of times. I quit completely and got a bunch of tests done and everything is fine. It's just viciously awful. I have not been able to breathe right for two weeks straight. Up until three days ago I have not been moving much but I'm doing a bit better.
This sucks and I think I have about a week more of this.

Anyway, I added a bunch of arcade classic games to my list and I bought farcry primeval yesterday.

gems of war is finished. Not much to say about it though. It was free with the PS+ and one of those connect three colors of gems(tetris type) games. The annoying part is it crashed and froze every 30 seconds.
Oh yeah ......... It was a 100hour finish!!!

Anyway, I'm actually still a little sick in my off gaming life but getting better.

It's now time to finish off Farcry: primevil :)

Bubble Bobble is FINISHED. Yesterday I thought I would treat myself and buy a bunch of the cheaper games on the PS store. I coined the idea when I saw that the three DLCs for dragon age were on a super sale!
so I bought them and 6 of the classics that were on my list. These classics are going to be a breeze :)

five minutes? I'm looking at a gameplay and this looks like the port from the NES which should take at least an hour if done right. Are all the game classics the NES games?

FarCry Primal is PLATTED NOW.

No, no, no. I feel Far cry has been going downhill for awhile now. Farcry 3 was super awesome but farcry 4 didn't bring anything new to the table and the environment was not as enjoyable. mainly it was difficult to get places because of mountains and stuff. Primal ......... it brings even less to the table. Problems:
1. There are no vehicles. I was surprised that the company didn't come up with some kind of an idea to make handmade vehicles or wings of some sort to be able to be mobile better. The only thing you can do is ride a tiger.
2. The game coloring sucked so bad. The game is mainly yellow, orange, and brown. For half of the day the entire world was painted orange from the sun. Everything blends in where ever you are. Nothing too spectacular in this game except for a few waterfalls.
3. The storyline was basic but since it's spoken in gibberish it's possible I didn't pay attention.
4. The missions were slapped together and basic. 60% of the missions where "Go and collect this for me" and the other 40% was "Go here and kill a bunch of cave dudes".

Oh well. I paid only $30 for it.

On the bright side I'm doing hardcore with finishing games this year.
