I wouldn't mind being either a leader hehe. I'll take Bug, if that's ok (weird, I know, but hey, I have some pretty darn good combos with bug Pokemon)

I may have missed this due to being a large topic, but if you lose can re challenge the leader as long as it's not greatly excessive?

The main thing I want to avoid is anti-teams. That is the reasoning for having challengers post their final team before they attempt any battles. That being said, as long as you don't change your Pokemon, you can rechallenge (until the Gym Leader gets tired of battling you).

Between challenges, think about how you lost and maybe change your items. Changing what attacks you have is a gray area in my mind but I feel that should be okay as well. If you make a Pokemon forget a move that can't be relearned then you will only hurt your chances in the long run.

If this goes over well, we may even decide to do another round of this with the next generation of Pokemon, letting everyone try again fresh.

Side Note: By Monday I should at least have a beta version of my team. I want make the official thread then, so make all objections to rules or anything else we need to establish known ASAP. I will not be online much this weekend to answer questions. If you do not have your team ready then, don't worry about it; I just want to have the Gym stuff set up so potential challengers can start battling us.

I suggest making Signatures that will have your Pokemon FC and gym type information (I'm going to post in the request thread about getting mine made).

So I believe that the badge awards are for those who challange us. Will there be awards for us 'Gym Leaders' to? Just need to understand this awards stuff a little better.

I really hate to sound kind of whiny by repeating myself, but could I be a gym leader using bug types? I could get that set up within a day or two (I have 3 100s for bug atm, 2 more close to 100 (that I traded for so speedy levelups), and if I trade a 6th current level 70 from my Platinum that'd be the last one...I have a couple long car trips so I could get those up to par within a couple days, completing that team. Let me know!

If you were repeating yourself, then I simply did not see your first post. I'll add you in as our bug guy.
 
I have a team ready, remember people...when playing online you're either level 50 or 100 by default. So you don't need Lvl 100s to win. Just set up your moves, EVs or whatever and you should do fine. maybe it'd be best to have em at lvl 50 at least.
