Read from gamefaqs that in one of the interviews producer hinted on the game's ending. People will come away from this with happier/more optimistic feelings, it’s a game that they want people to feel good after it’s done.
In one of the trailers they showed Shionne got sucked into some black hole and probably she's dying because of Mc's been using her powers, the magic sword from her PLOT, and MC calling her name in an emotional way. since they showed that in one of the trailers, probably in the actual game she really is okay, especially by endgame with no stuff like what happened to Velvet or fractured Milla.
