Shenanigan Guy

My first comment in the topic!

Looks like I missed a lot of fun, but I really LOVE your comics, Dan! Keep up the amazing yet amusing work!

Dearest kids,

I'm currently making a Shenanigan Website for the heck of it. It's actually turning out rather well, I just need to work around with the design. I've got the comics loading up wonderfully, with a neat "random comic" button everybody loves to have. I'll still update stuff in here, but it'll be nice to have a little website too. Maybe even shove an RSS feed on it for the sake of learning new crap.

Kind regards,
NintenDan

NOTE: It's on a free host, of course. Hoipaty doip.

Looking forward to see this. Remember to include some Lakitu's holding some buttons with his hands/fishing rod, if you can.

Right now I've got generic buttons, but hey, can always add fancy stuff if I'm bored.
Okay. I can always help you out with some graphics, if you need.

Wahoo! Though it will depend if I'm going to use official art or actually draw my own to make it all the more adorable, not really sure. But yeah, I've finished work for tonight, the main thing is working. Just need a home page and some other utilities, like a comic browser (shows next 3 and previous 3 comics or something), different navigation (possibly), and then a footer. Maybe an about page if I'm bored.

One day: "Hey man, you see that new xkcd comic?" "No, but I did see the new Shenanigan Guy strip." "Aw man, that shiz is tight, yo! I roll on the floor laughing my pa-tootie off every time I see those!"

Just might happen.

I've already shown a few people, so may as well show everyone, but here's what I've put together so far:

http://shyguyland.comeze.com/comics.php?issue=1

It might be blocked by your virus software; if so, just continue to the page anyway. Trend Micro seems to like doing this, along with a few other ones. My guess is due to the free hosting, I should try getting a better one that isn't so sketchy. But for the time being, this will do well enough for testing.

I've got a lot of issue descriptions to add, and I've got to fix up the 37th issue too. For some of the comics that have been dynamically resized to fit the content width, I want a "view full size" option, so I'll shove that in.

I also want a fancy home page, a fancy about page, a fancy archive page and more navigation options (like previous three and next three, as a little sidebar or drop down or something; or not).

Also, note the adorable favicon? I love it. If you get any strange display errors that I haven't noted here, just let me know (and tell me what browser, etc.)

The website is nice, but I have a small notice:
Whenever you scrol over Random,in that bar that tells you where you're going(no,not the adress bar,the one at the bottom),it tells you the comic number.

I like the descriptions,though.Nice touch.

Hmm, good point, heh. I'll think up a work around.

So we're not allowed to zoom in on comics? Damn, it's kinda blurries. Otherwise, good start.
