everything is under GF mods, always has been since day one.

Yep, something like "GF Extras" or "Extra Features" would work better. You could find a few names and start a poll for the users to choose one of them.
Some of the thumbnails also don't work for some reason.
Or even more could be fine xD

Why not just make the "store" a tab on the menu all of it's own?

Well yea but I highly doubt that a lot of people actually put their mouse over the GF Extras tab to see what it is. If they see "store", they may be more interested.
If they read their welcome PM then they should be looking for it.

You have a navigation bar that allows for tabs to be put on it, use it.

Lol honestly, nobody reads that these days.
I don't want to over fill the tab bar either, if they simply hover their cursor over the drop down tabs then navigation is easy here on the forum.

To be honest whenever I register on a forum and get an automatic PM from the admin i usually open it and delete it without reading because it's the usual old stuff.
Haha this basically. I usually assume all welcome messages are just saying "welcome"
